Salary: £30,253 per annum (plus £3,160 per annum inner London Weighting)

Job Type: 6 month Fixed Term contract

Working Pattern: Full time (35 hours per week)

Job Description: We are looking for a Member Service and Records Administrator to join our Member Contact Centre team. In this role, you will be responsible for being the first point of contact for our members, dealing with membership queries, maintaining the membership system and welcoming and assisting new members in joining Prospect. You will need to have a positive attitude, excellent attention to detail and good organisational skills to ensure the highest level of service is provided to new and existing Prospect Members.

The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in customer service, great communication skills and a professional attitude, and a passion for working for helping our members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing member administration and maintaining accurate membership details via paper, phone calls, emails and systems.
  • Keeping records up to date by receiving and processing information from members, Prospect representatives and other sources.
  • Ensure our members are paying the correct subscription and assist with setting up appropriate payment methods.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of working in a customer service environment and administration
  • Excellent customer focused service and communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong data entry and IT skills, including working with large databases.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Experience working as part of a team.
  • Experience providing a high service standard in line with KPI’s.

Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Proven administration skills within membership services.
  • Good interpersonal skills and relationship building, rapport building.
