We are now looking for an Assistant Secretary to drive strategy and campaigning in the Ministry Of Defence. The successful candidate will also have responsibility for several key branches, primarily in the MOD, and should have a strong focus on and good experience of, lobbying, organising and negotiating at a senior level.
The role is based in our London office and is part of our Defence Sector. The successful candidate will report to the National Secretary and will manage staff to ensure they provide effective support and advice to members and branches. It involves delivering individual and collective representation, policy development, helping tutor and develop branch elected representatives; building and maintaining effective and resilient branch structures; and contributing to our defence sector networking activities.
