This role will be initially offered on a 12 month fixed term contract with the view to becoming permanent.
As an Organising Official you will work be responsible for organising recruitment initiatives and supporting campaign activity. You will be developing local representatives, improving branch organisation and workplace communications. This role will have a particular focus on providing individual support for members through case work. The role will have a particular organising focus on environmental and academic areas but will also work on other regional priorities and may evolve over time.
The base for this role will be in Glasgow or Edinburgh. However, it will involve travel nationally to various sites. Subject to Prospect’s car policy, you may be eligible for a company car.
