The Role of Negotiations Executive
Prospect is looking for a Negotiations Executive to provide individual and collective representation, support and advice to members and branches in Jersey, to meet their needs and ensure successful outcomes.
The postholder will be responsible for undertaking personal casework representation and support collective representation for members in Jersey. This will include members working in Jersey Civil Service, Ports of Jersey, and Jersey Electricity.
In addition, the postholder will be responsible for supporting branch activity and developing branch capability for organisation and recruitment. Working closely with colleagues in Prospect Head Office, the role will encourage Prospect membership in Jersey and ensure our branch representatives are provided with the support and advice needed to carry out their roles.

This is the lead role for Prospect in Jersey Civil Service and Ports of Jersey, as well as supporting representatives and members in Jersey Electricity.
You will be working with our volunteer representatives in Jersey, and with our research, legal and communications teams, primarily providing individual casework representation and support.
You will need to maintain a productive relationship, with various and varied stakeholders, in a complex, regulated and multi-union negotiating environment.
