Contract - Permanent

Salary - £36,181 plus London weighting of £3,039 per annum. 35 hours per week.

We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic digital professional with a great track record in undertaking a range of digital projects. Prospect is investing in and modernising the tools and platforms we use, including those we offer to our volunteers to support their work. We have an ambitious roadmap for change that you will be critical to helping deliver.

You’ll have a thirst for finding digital solutions to a range of problems. You will be a champion for users and discovering and delivering what they need. You will have experience of CMS and experience of managing the integration of different platforms, including with CRM. You will be comfortable with handling large data sets and helping us do more with it.

You will need to:

  • Understanding and knowledge of key UX and web accessibility standards and principles.
  • Understanding the diverse needs of a range of colleagues and internal and external stakeholders including our members. Excellent ability to communicate with them.
  • Can interrogate data, identify trends and feed into insight-driven strategy, particularly using Excel to manipulate data sets
  • Ability to use Content Management Systems (CMS) (we use Wordpress and Umbraco).
  • Ability to use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) (we use Microsoft Dynamics 365).
  • Ability to use email marketing systems to their full extent (we use Dot Digital).
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage and prioritise a busy and complex workload in a changing environment with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts, data and processes.
  • Ability to learn legacy systems and help manage migration to new platforms desirable.

Experience needed:

  • Three years’ experience working in a similar role
  • Experience dealing with member/customer/supporter data - processing and acting upon OR relevant experience working on the agency side.
  • Experience of being the gatekeeper for digital tools, systems and processes within an organisation.
  • Experience training colleagues and stakeholders in using digital systems.
  • Must have been involved in projects to develop new digital systems, whether this be databases/CRMs or websites, apps, or specific digital tools.
  • Experience of user stories and user journeys
  • Experience of conducting user testing including (preferably) accessibility testing.
  • Experience working in agile project environment (desirable)
  • You don’t need any particular qualifications for this role – if you have the skills we’re looking for, it doesn’t matter where you got them from.
  • Experience conducting and analysing the results of surveys.

Where this role fits in

This role is part of our Digital team which forms part of our wider Communications and Public Affairs function. You will be working closely with colleagues in our IT and membership teams and with our volunteer representatives.
